Warranty

All products sold on dr-store.it are covered by the manufacturer’s standard warranty and by the 24-month legal warranty for lack of conformity, in accordance with Legislative Decree No. 206/2005 (Consumer Code).

Legal Warranty – 24 Months

The 24-month warranty applies to products that show a lack of conformity, provided the product has been used properly, for its intended purpose, and in accordance with the technical documentation supplied.

This warranty is available exclusively to private consumers (individuals who purchase products for personal use and not for business purposes, i.e. without providing a VAT number during checkout).

In the event of a conformity defect, we will handle the return and proceed with either:

  • Product repair
  • Replacement
  • Price reduction
  • Contract termination, depending on the situation

Authorized Repair Center Evaluation

If the issue reported is found not to be a conformity defect after inspection by an Authorized Service Center, the customer will be charged for:

  • Inspection and restoration costs
  • Any shipping costs (if covered by DR Enterprise)
  • Administrative and handling fees (minimum €30)

Product Replacement or Refund

If it is not possible to return a repaired or replacement product under warranty, we reserve the right to offer a refund based on the lower value between:

  • The product’s market value at the time of the request
  • The original invoice amount

Alternatively, we may offer a replacement with a product of equal or superior features, possibly from a different brand.

Repair & Return Conditions

No compensation can be claimed for delays in repair or replacement services.

When returning a product under warranty, the customer must send it in the original packaging, including all accessories, manuals, cables, and documentation. To prevent damage, we recommend placing the original box inside another protective package. Do not apply labels or adhesive tape directly on the product’s original box.

Italian vs. European Warranty

Is there a difference between Italy and Europe warranty coverage?
No — all products are covered by the same 24-month legal warranty, regardless of their origin.

Special Terms for Apple Products

  • First 12 months: Warranty handled directly by Apple. Customers can visit any Apple Store or initiate support via the official Apple Support website.
  • Second 12 months: Warranty handled by us. The customer must keep the sales invoice to benefit from the warranty.
